When they came out of Su Hang's office, quite some time had passed. The two held hands with their fingers tightly entwined. Su Hang passed his car keys to Fang Yu, who couldn't stop sneaking glances at the couple. Su Hang told him: "Help me drive my car back. I'm getting off work now."

"And the information you requested to be delivered tonight?" Fang Yu asked.

"We'll talk tomorrow." Su Hang firmly clutched Shen Xi's hand.

Feeling the strength of his hand from her palm, Shen Xi raised her head and gently smiled at the man beside her. After seeing her smile, a strong desire to never come back to work penetrated Su Hang's heart.

"Alright." Fang Yu felt that the sweetness in the air was too intense and was becoming a little thirsty.

Su Hang, with his wife's hand in his grip, disregarded the cold and emotionless persona he usually had in the company and walked out of the company door with a spring in his step. 

When they sat in Shen Xi's car, Su Hang looked out at all the passers-by hurrying home. For the first time since his marriage, he didn't have a strong urge to go back home. This was because today, the warmth he had always been chasing after wasn't back at home, but beside him.

"Let's not go home." Su Hang turned and said to Shen Xi.

"Where do you want to go?" Shen Xi casually asked while playing with her long-lost rabbit doll.

"Let's...let's go on a date." Su Hang's voice was expectant.

Shen Xi's heart palpitated as she tweaked the ear of her rabbit doll. In her two lifetimes, she had never had a formal date with Su Hang. It was rare for this foolish guy to suddenly be so aware.
　

"Alright." Shen Xi nodded with a smile.

"That...where should we go?" Boss Su, who had never been on a date, was a little confused.

"Aren't you the one asking me out? You have to plan it." Shen Xi looked at the man's suddenly nervous expression and couldn't help but laugh.

"Then...let's go to dinner first." After a long time, Su Hang finally thought of this. He figured that he could continue to think about the next step after.

Su Hang thought back to the conversation Lilith and Fang Yu had the other day about a new Vietnamese restaurant that had opened in the shopping mall on Mei Shuang road. He heard them say that the atmosphere and the food were pleasant, so Su Hang decided to go there.

As they approached the restaurant door, Su Hang's gaze was attracted by a poster hanging in the mall.

"What's the matter?" Shen Xi noticed that Su Hang had stopped just shy from the restaurant, so she curiously asked.

"Let's go eat this." Su Hang pointed to the poster.

Shen Xi turned around and saw a huge banner hanging from the ceiling. It proclaimed: [New store opening, 20% discount for the couple's meal!]

Shen Xi looked back at Su Hang and saw that the tips of his ears were red. She immediately guessed the man's thoughts, but deliberately replied: "20% off, it looks like a good deal."

"No..."

"Let's go." Shen Xi intentionally turned away and walked towards the elevator to prevent Su Hang from getting the opportunity to explain.

Su Hang hurriedly caught up to her at the elevator doors and explained: "I didn't want to go because of the discount."

"Then, why?" Shen Xi jokingly asked.

"The couple's meal." Su Hang shyly whispered. "I want to eat the couple's meal with you." 

"Good." Shen Xi nodded with a smile.

Su Hang looked at Shen Xi's hand that was hanging on her side and couldn't help but reach out and hold it. He grasped her small hand tightly, as if it was the only thing that could make his heart feel at ease.
　　　

After a while, the elevator came. In a stroke of luck, the elevator was empty. They stepped inside hand in hand, then Su Hang pressed the button for their intended floor.

The elevator has a transparent, sight-seeing wall, and it went all the way up to the eighth floor. Looking at the huge Christmas tree that hadn't been packed away yet, Shen Xi suddenly called out: "Su Hang."

Su Hang immediately turned to look at her.

"In the future, can we do it like this?" Shen Xi looked up towards Su Hang's puzzled eyes. "I want to..."

The elevator stopped on the sixth floor. When the doors opened, a large number of people stepped in. They interrupted Shen Xi's words and squeezed the couple into the back of the elevator. Su Hang protected Shen Xi by placing her in his arms. With a hand on the glass, he asked her in a low voice: "What did you say just now?"

"I'll tell you back home." Shen Xi leaned against the glass wall and looked up at Su Hang. She could feel the warmth of his body around her.

The two went to the newly opened restaurant. They lined up for more than ten minutes, then finally sat down and orders the couple's set meal that Su Hang deeply desired. Truthfully, the food wasn't that good, but Su Hang liked the tableware and design of the place. Even the napkins were stylized for men and women.

After they ate, Su Hang and Shen Xi walked around the mall. Shen Xi felt as if Su Hang was looking for something specific, but she didn't ask and simply went along with him. When they saw a gift shop, they went in and bought a cute doll. When they saw a milk tea store, they went in and bought two cups of milk tea. When they passed by a flower store, they went in and bought a bunch of roses. When they encountered a crane machine, they stopped and caught a few small dolls.

Because of this, Su Hang ended up being unable to hold his wife's hand. Instead, he bought too many things and was now stuck with his hands full. He felt unhappy.

When they went to the first floor, they encountered the huge Christmas tree once more. Even though Christmas had already passed, there were still plenty of children and young couples posing under the tree.

Didn't you say that you wanted to take me to see the Christmas tree back when we visited Shang YingYing?" Shen Xi suddenly remembered that on Christmas day, during Su Hang's almost incoherent confession, he said that he was going to take her to see a Christmas tree.

"Un." Su Hang nodded.

"Which place were you thinking of?"

"In the capital of country W." Su Hang replied.

"Oh, it snows there during the winter, right? It must be lovely there during Christmastime." Shen Xi commented.

"Then...shall we go next year?" Su Hang carefully proposed.

Shen Xi looked at him in askance, then suddenly pushed the things she was holding into his arms. Under Su Hang's astonished gaze, she asked: "Where's your phone?"

"In my pocket." Su Hang wanted to take it out and give it to her, but his hands were full.

Shen Xi reached inside his suit pocket for his phone, turned on the camera, set it to selfie mode, then raised it high. She looked at the screen, then told Su Hang: "Crouch down a bit."

"Oh." Su Hang obediently crouched down. His handsome face that was surrounded by flowers and dolls was a little funny, but when Shen Xi leaned over, the image on his cellphone became particularly harmonious.

"Lean toward me."

Su Hang obediently leaned towards her.

"Look at the camera." Shen Xi reminded him.

Su Hang dutifully followed Shen Xi's words and tried to make his expression look more natural. Sadly, the sudden warmth on his cheek stunned him so severely that his eyes widened.

After kissing him, Shen Xi looked at the photo she just took. She nodded in satisfaction, placed the phone back into Su Hang's pocket, then said with a smile: "This is the first one. Next year, we'll take another photo in country W."

"Un." Su Hang's mouth formed into a silly smile at the knowledge that Shen Xi had agreed to go to country W with him next year.

"It's late; let's go back." Shen Xi took the bouquet back from Su Hang. They went to the parking lot outside the mall shoulder to shoulder.

As soon as they left the shopping mall, a bone-chilling wind blew towards them, and Shen Xi couldn't help shivering. Seeing this, Su Hang took the roses from Shen Xi and replaced it with a big stuffed animal.

"It won't be as cold if you hold a doll." Su Hang told her.

Shen Xi held the fluffy stuffed doll. She opened her mouth and was about to speak when suddenly, a couple talking to each other appeared.

"Baby, isn't it cold? Come and hold me so you won't be cold."

The man and woman embraced each other happily. On the side, Su Hang looked at this scene with regretful eyes. So there was this kind of thing. Ah, if I had known earlier, I wouldn't have bought that useless doll.

"Pfft..." Shen Xi couldn't help but laugh. Su Hang's expression was too easy to understand. 

Su Hang's regretful expression turned to one of embarrassment.

Shen Xi thought for a moment, then put the stuffed doll on the ground. Then, she wrapped her arms around Su Hang's waist and snuggled into his arms. She solemnly exclaimed: "This is much warmer than hugging the stuffed doll."

It was like she was coaxing a child. It made Su Hang feel ashamed. But, well, so what if he felt ashamed? If he could have this kind of treatment, Su Hang would gladly feel ashamed forever.

They returned to the villa, washed up, then headed to bed. As he laid down, Su Hang remembered that Shen Xi had previously wanted to tell him something.

"Xiao Xi," Su Hang said in a low voice.

"Nn?" Shen Xi turned over to face him.

"Weren't you going to tell me something when we arrived back home?" Su Hang asked.

Shen Xi was confused for a while but gradually remembered. She paused and organized her thoughts, then slowly started to speak.

"Su Hang, did you know? Sometimes I find you very troublesome and confusing."

Su Hang's body tensed, and his heart that had been warmed by the joy and satisfaction of their earlier date turned cold.

"You can be really stuffy sometimes. Every day you have this poker face, and most of the time, you don't tell me what you're thinking. I find it really hard." Shen Xi complained.

"I...." Su Hang felt overwhelmed.

"But I was very happy tonight." Shen Xi smiled. "So, in the future, let's do it like this."

"If you want to go on a date, you can just ask me. If you want to buy me a gift, you can just buy it for me. If I misunderstand you, just go ahead and explain things. If you're upset or sad, just tell me directly."

"You...you want me to just come out and tell you?" Su Hang hesitantly asked.

"Yes." Shen Xi reassured.

"Tell me." Shen Xi tried to encourage him.

"You...really won't refuse me?" Su Hang asked feebly.

"I won't!" Shen Xi replied.

"I want you!" 

"...." Shen Xi found herself in a pitfall and wanted to swear.

"I wish for it every day." The more you like someone, the more you wish for it.

Shen Xi, who had been tossed around the entire night, had a fleeting thought before she slept: I need to somehow figure out a way to fix this BUG.
